Camp Achieve is coming to Rock Creek

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

With help from the Beaverton Education Foundation we are fortunate to have an opportunity this summer to provide students with support and extensions in literacy and math skills for three to nine weeks over the summer. Our summer school program is called Camp Achieve. We have three sessions and students may attend all three or any combination of them. The Camp Achieve sessions are as follows: Session 1 will be hosted by Bethany, June 16th – July 2nd, Session 2 will be held at Terra Linda, July 7th – July 23rd, and Session 3 is at Rock Creek, July 28th – August 13th. Camp hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.

The focus of “Camp Achieve” is to help children avoid the “summer slide” and provide them with additional support and extension opportunities in reading, writing, and math. All students are encouraged to attend that are interested in maintaining or even increasing their skills over the summer. In addition, each week will have different activities. Join us for arts and outdoor games.

To offset the costs, we are asking parents to pay $100.00 per session for the program. Scholarships are available upon request.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in our summer program, please fill out the registration form, attach payment, and return it to school by this Friday, May 21st.

We look forward to working with your child and watching him/her grow academically!! If you have any questions about the program, please contact Allyson Dubuque at or Jared Cordon at

Sincerely, Allyson Dubuque 4th grade teacher
